‘Spring Into Giving Event’ Scheduled for May 4-9 Features Events, Deals, and Donations
Appleton, WI – Lowney’s Landscaping Center, Inc., invites you to the 2nd Annual “Spring Into Giving Event” from May 4-9 at its Garden Center, located just north of Appleton on Hwy. 47, with 10% of all retail proceeds benefiting Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.
Manufacturer representatives will be on-site to give live demonstrations on Thursday, May 7, with “Talk to the Experts Day” bringing in Breeo outdoor smokeless firepits and pizza ovens, Unilock pavers, Belgard pavers, and M.A.K.E Fence and Deck, among others. Breeo will be making pizzas on-site.
Give Back Friday includes the 3rd Annual Blood Drive. Community Blood Center will be on-site from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This blood drive was a record-setter last year. All blood collected will directly benefit people in the Fox Cities. Blood donors will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Lowney’s Gift Card. Click here to sign up to donate.
The Garden Center will be open the entire week, leading up to Mother’s Day, featuring a wide selection of trees, perennials, and other gift ideas. Bulk materials including mulch, topsoil, and decorative stone will be available for pickup or delivery.
All bulk material purchases plus on-site retail purchases of furniture, grills, pergolas, firepits and similar outdoor products will count toward the charitable contributions. There will also be special savings on in-stock furniture, firepits, grills, and outdoor TVs.
Saturday’s Grand Finale will include a brat fry sponsored and run by the Seymour Wrestling Club, a Kids Planting Station, and Mother’s Day Baskets 50% off (while supplies last).
Ten percent of all retail sales generated during the week will be donated to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. The organization is the largest hunger relief organization in Wisconsin, with food banks in Milwaukee and Appleton. In collaboration with nearly 600 hunger relief partners and trusted community-based programs, it provides nutritious, high-quality, and culturally relevant food to neighbors facing hunger across 35 counties.
Through its strong network of food donors including farmers, manufacturers, and retailers, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin rescues surplus food and supplements it with strategic purchases of fresh produce, dairy, and protein to ensure consistent access to nourishing options. The organization works tirelessly to address the root causes of hunger and build a future where everyone has equitable access to the food they need to thrive. Learn more at FeedingAmericaWI.org.
Hours will be 8-5 Monday through Wednesday, 8-6 Thursday and Friday, and 8-2 on Saturday at the Garden Center (N3310 State Road 47), just north of Appleton. Complimentary food and cold drinks will be served Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
