Lowney’s Landscaping Debuts ‘Spring Into Giving Event’ May 5-10, Supports Local Charities

Lowney’s Landscaping Center, Inc., invites you to the first-ever “Spring Into Giving Event” from May 5-10 at its Garden Center just north on Hwy. 47, with 10% of all retail proceeds benefiting local charities, primarily the ThedaCare Family of Foundations Cancer Survivorship Fund.

Manufacturer representatives will be on-site to give live demonstrations on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, including Breeo outdoor smokeless firepits, Sonance sound systems, Heartland Pergolas, Blaze Grills, Unilock pavers, Belgard pavers, LuxCraft outdoor furniture, and more.

The Garden Center will be open the entire week, which leads up to Mother’s Day, featuring a wide selection of trees, perennials, and other gift ideas. Bulk materials including mulch, topsoil, and decorative stone will be available for pickup or delivery. All bulk material purchases plus on-site retail purchases of furniture, grills, pergolas, fire pits and similar outdoor products will count toward the charitable contributions.

Ten percent of all revenues generated during the week will be donated to local charities, primarily benefiting the ThedaCare Family of Foundations Cancer Survivorship Fund, which support services to cancer survivors and their families as they transition from treatment to recovery through nutrition and exercise programs, caregiver and support groups, therapists and more.

Hours will be 8-5 Monday through Wednesday, 8-6 Thursday and Friday, and 8-2 on Saturday at the Garden Center at 3310 WI-47 just north of Appleton. Complimentary food and cold drinks will be served Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The event will be capped by Lowney’s 2^nd Annual Blood Drive on Saturday, May 10, from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm. Community Blood Center will be on-site and all blood collected will directly benefit people in the Fox Cities. Blood donors will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Lowney’s Gift Card.
